Another Weird Dream

Well, I had another one of my Weird Dreams last night. I dreamt I was observing...it was like I was watching it on TV, except I was there. Does that make sense? (Note: Do not read further if even the word "needles" makes you nervous.)

Dream, 7-28-05

A gentleman arrives at his house. He lives in a small house with his young daughter (played by Dakota Fanning) and his two Native American parents.

His daughter welcomes him home with open arms. His mother, with her long black hair falling to her knees, tells him it is time for Daughter's treatment. So he sets her up on a table and takes out a long needle (the length of Daughter's arm) and a bag full of fluid. (Apparently some kind of medicine.) He then plunges the needle in Daughter's wrist.

Daughter screams and cries. He continues to put it into her arm. When the tip of her needle is in her shoulder, he attaches the bag and pours the fluid into her arm. She screams "Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaadddddiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeee" repeatedly.

Finally, the treatment is done. He cradles his young daughter in his arms while she cries away the pain. Finally, she falls into this deep sleep.

A knock on the door. Still carrying daughter, the man answers. It is a lady with straggly blond hair. Apparently, it is her mother.

"I've come to see my kid..." she says.

"She won't wake," the man replies.

(END DREAM)

So, friends, what do you make of this? Do I have some sadistic tendecies? I hope not....

I'm not. I have to work that day. I'm sure about 342 people will be going, though. :-)
